MatrixDesk is operated by Matrix Route Solution Enterprises ("we", "us"), based in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. This policy explains what information we collect when a business uses MatrixDesk, and when a business's customers message a MatrixDesk-powered WhatsApp number.
From businesses that sign up: business name, contact email, phone number, and the product, pricing and policy information you provide to train your bot.
From end customers messaging a connected WhatsApp number: the phone number they message from, and the content of their messages, for the purpose of generating a reply and maintaining conversation history.
Message content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a reply, and to our knowledge-retrieval provider (Voyage AI) to find relevant business information. We do not sell customer data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Conversation and business data is stored using Supabase, a hosted database provider. Access is restricted to the business that owns that data and to Matrix Route Solution Enterprises for the purpose of operating the service.
Conversation history is retained to provide continuity in support conversations. A business can request deletion of their data at any time — see our Data Deletion page.
